In preparation for the January Contest, El, K3JJZ pointed out that many of the neat programs we use for contesting have been discussed including links in many emails from various sources over the last few months. It's all great info, but to save you the frustration of having to locate all those emails, We will attempt to put all the info here in one place.

N1MM+ Logger Link
*Contest Assistance Programs:*
Pack Rats Members Only Chat
Used by Pack Rats Only to arrange schedules during the contest. An easy way to get a Pack Rat you have not worked yet.
Download this program to replace the retired paper versions of the "Pack Rats to Look For", "Rovers to Look For"(Pack Rats & Non- Pack Rats), and "Non-Pack Rats-DX Stations to Look For" lists.
PRF can be used stand alone manually on your computer with any logging program, or in conjunction with the N1MM+ logging program automatically checking off Pack Rats as you work them. You can also see other Pack Rats frequencies they are operating on spotted in real time so you can "find" them!
For more details on the PRF program go to:
ON4KST Chat http://www.on4kst.com/chat/start.php Note: Select 144 & 432 IARU Region 2 Chat. Log In if you have a password or register. During the contest everyone uses this to arrange schedules for all bands.
